Another wonderful performance

This was my 14th time to see Phantom. This measured up to any I've seen. Even though I wanted Christine to keep the end of her tones more focused, she was terrific. The Phantom was one of the best ever. He was a little more human and just as frightening. I've only seen one performance that convinced me of affection between Christine and the Phantom; this one was less convincing than most. The dance mistress was remarkably good, and giving her daughter a little extra depth and drama was an interesting nuance. The sets were unusual and amazing, and the costumes were gorgeous. I was thrilled at another chance to experience this masterpiece.
